Dana Crash Update: FG Suspends Dana Operating License
The Sunday Air crash of Dana air plane that led to the death of over 153 people has resulted into an indefinite suspension of Dana Airline by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority. Confirming the new development, the spokesperson of NCAA, Sam Adurogboye said that NCAA has indefinitely suspended the operating license of Dana Airline pending result of the investigation into the recent plane crash.
Mr. Adurogboye disclosed to daily post that the suspension order came on Monday night and would begin immediately. He said NCAA suspended the airline’s license to enable the agency “ carry out its investigations.”
Stellah Oduah, the Nigerian Aviation boss also affirmed that the suspension was for safety and precautionary measures.”
Mr Adurogboye further confirmed Dana’s compliance to the new directive.
